Soundcraft UK have been kind enough to rummage through their files and supply me with a brief service manual on this unit, there's enough info for troubleshooting , and many "hidden button" test routines etc.

I thought I'd post this as I know a lot of users are searching for info and may come across this thread.

bramley -- I own two Houstons here in the US and would grealy appreciate any information you might have obatined -- particularly schematics! They work perfectly for my needs, but one of the units has a dicey fader that i'd like to troubleshoot (doesn't generate full count at the top of the fader, might be a voltage reference problem). Please let me know if we can work something out.
      Best,
      9kguy

          Hi Bramley,
I bought a Houston when they first came out. I still use it but it has a few problems.
I am a sound / electronics design engineer. I would very be greatfull if you might pass on any info you may have about this controller.
          Best regards,
          Wal...

            Hey Man,

My Houston is acting very strange, and i'd like to have a copy of that soundcraft U.K. file (w the schematics) . It's really a bummer we have all left to our own devices with this unit, however i still use Nuendo and am kinda content with the Houston (when it works!). Would you be able to email me the files?

            Thanks

Please email me said schematics. My encoders are acting wonky.

It's mainly diagnostic stuff, but it's ALL there is . Steinberg have nothing available and Sound craft/Spirit( who built Houstons) kindly sent me this.
