  • Panaramic 250R

A guy brought an amp to my session last night for me to look at. There is a big plate on the from that says Panaramic and a small metal plate attached to the cabinet with the model number and serial number. The model number is 250R

Does anyone know anything about these amps? Schematic anyone?

Looks kinda cool. This one is a true point to point amp. No eyelett boards, two prong plug, so I am thinking late sixtys at the very latest, maybe older? There is a sticker on the front from an accordian dealer here in Houston. No area code on the sticker and we have three area codes here now. Two channels with a top mounted control panel set up to adjust the controls from behind the amp like the Fender tweed amps.

I'll post some pics over the weekend if anyone is interested.

    Typical complaint, no sound.

I did a little searching for accordian amps and it narrowed things down quite a bit. I found a schematic for an model number 250R amplifier made by Sano that matches the amp. I don't know if there was a relationship between the companies or just some plagerism.
