  • Korg GT-60X Guitar Tuner calibration

Have one of these that reads flat thus guitar gets tuned sharp!
Has two preset pots and crystal ..guess its been dropped and could be possibly
a mechanical fault in the moving coil meter.
Stretching my patience to the limit I did manage to resolder an end spring from an early
model Korg which repaired the meter..I'm hoping this wont be necessary with this one.
Any GT-60X schematic or calibration routine welcomed.
    thanks

It's not even listed on my dealer support site.

Look on the owner manual and make sure it is set for A = 440.
Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

Plug 440 Hz to input jack PH3
      Switch SW1 to position 5 ( A )
With trimmer pot VR2 (master) set the instrument to the middle position ( 0 ) of the scale.

Thank you gentlemen for your replies.I didn't have the handbook Enzo nor was it available on the Korg site.
I was hopeing it was one of those with selectable "concert" pitch before I saw it.
Must be very old by todays standard. Thanks VintageKiki .. all is well now.
I noticed a s/h one for approx $14 on ebay... but managed to adjust it back ok.
The g string on a strat was a bit radical..wouldn't settle but overall seems to be ok.
It was one of those "extra" jobs for sentimental reasons...
Doubt I'll ever see one again although I did have the WT-10 which is the one that had the broken spring.
The trick was to remove the broken spring completly solder tiny wire wrap wire to one end and anchor the other
end of the wire so I could manipulate the spring into position before soldering.
Luckily it was broken right at the solder join so didn't lose much spring .
So thats 2 less in landfill!
