Passive DI Box Layout

I am really new to guitar electronics so I'm trying to get as much information as I can. I'm trying to build simple effects, working my way up to building my own amp - starting small. I'm into DI boxes at the moment and I found a really simple schematic that I think I can build (I know it's cheaper to buy one, but this is a learning experience) but I'd feel more comfortable if I could find a photo or layout drawing of the innards of a passive DI box, so I can see how everything is mounted. I've searched all over the web and can't find anything. Can anyone help me out? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
