Whenever I turned on phantom power, and raised Channel fader up, would hear a low screech, even no mic hooked up.
Turn off phantom power, no screech. Just thought st. wrong around phantom power circuit
It happens on all the channels?
There are electrolytic capacitors on every input to stop the phantom voltage from getting in to the amplifier circuits.
If it happens on all the channels then the problem is most likely in the phantom circuit.
Check the phantom supply for ripple.
Excess ripple on the supply will come through each channels blocking cap.
Thanks Jazz, I replaced new C27 and C41. No more screech noise
