  • Roland KC-150

I need the schematic for this if someone has a PDF of it.
Looks like someone jacked in something they shouldn't have. R58 and R61 burned and melted the headphone connector which is probably salvagable.(Jalco PJ9 3C unit i think)
IC 4 has let the magic smoke out. NJM4556AL I have a bunch of these.
Probably a few M5218AL's bad. these could be fun. 8pin sip. probably Xover to a 8 dip and wire in.

        I don't have a schematic for a 150, however I do have the service manuals for the KC-350, 550 and 500.
They are all too big to post here, however I can e-mail them if you want to try to see if they are a closer match.
Just send me a PM with your e-mail if you are interested.

            Thanks.
The 500 is still way too different

There was a guy, from the UK I think, posting under the name Roland Spares. He came in, offered to send schematics to a number of people, then seems to have drifted away. You might look him up in the member listings and send a message asking if he can help.

                Hi,

Quick question, on the schematic for the KC-100 ther are some capacitors and some resistors label as NMT. Does anybody knows what does it mean? Is there a way to find out the real value?.

                Thank you

                  Find NMT

I found R90 & C69 in series to chassis ground, on the headphone out jack.
Ooh. C48 on Q13 base to chassis ground, on the drive side of IC7. M5241L dual VCA volume control.
Maybe it is some kind of specific code thing.
                  No MounT?

Thanks for the replay JP, but the components are mounted on the board assembly, C48 and R59 are connected with a jumpwire to R62. And R90 & C69 are near Jumpwire 58 on the PCB. Bad Luck for me since most of the components on this amp are too old, dusty and greyed to be recognizable, and everytime I test with the Multimeter the needle goes crazy.

There may have been a revision where the NMT parts where discontinued.
On the bottom right of the schematic: NMT: No Mount

Duh!!, I hadn't see the notation on the corner. This mean I can remove the burned parts and replace them with jumpers?

I think no mount means exactly that.
I would not install any jumpers.
If you do that, C48 jumpered would effectively short Q13's base to ground (not good)
And series R90 C79 jumpered would ground the headphone signal (also not good)
                          Simply remove them.
If you have any doubts, why not place a call to Roland.
