  • Looking for a Peavey TNT-100 Bass amplifier.

Having problems with no audio from my TNT100. Powersupply is good, no burnt components or PCBA's. Don't have a schematic for it though, and it is a real problem.

    Here the TNT-100 schematic is.

    Good luck.

There are at least two versions of the TNT100, the 1974 posted above and another from 1979. SImilar but not the same.

Peavey customer service will send you any schematics you want.

Before you get out the schematic, check the speaker for open voice coil, and check the wires to the speaker.

      Inside, check for blown fuses.

The newer version has a Line Out jack, run a cord from that to some other amp input. Now play through your amp, does it come out the other amp now? The older version does not include that feature.

The newer one has an IC preamp, so ther must be +/-15v on the op amp ICs. Is there? The 1974 version has a transistor preamp, so there is a single _24v suply for those. It copmes from the +36 main supply.

Both versions have a push pull output, that runs on +/-36 to 39 volts. Are they present?

Thank you to all. My TNT100 Bass amp, has no output (at all), has the +/- DC power supply, and nothing look burnt. Not too sure what it could be, probably the power amp section?
