  • Trace Elliot Super Tramp Twin 100w schematic wanted

I've searched extensively to try to get this schematic. It's the tube preamp model with TIP35c/36c output transistors and speaker relay. Can anyone help?

My mistake - the relay is for channel switching.

There are many variations: MOS outputs, Darlingtons, discrete bipolars, chipamps.
Maybe this one "being the most complete" matches yours enough to troubleshoot.

Just spent a little time comparing this schematic against the actual amp and it's basically the same preamp with one power amp channel, minus the chorus board. Same PSU. Main components are close enough - in fact, very close. I notice I'd saved this schematic previously but had originally skimmed over it and dismissed it as being 'too different' - thanks for highlighting it.

          Same problem here,

I just bought a second hand "Super tramp tube 100W" which produces quite a lot of background noise (kind of white noise). My first try will be to try fixing cold solder joints, because some of them look quite ugly. I had a quick look at the PCB and I guess that one of the previous owners tried to change some caps and I saw that he forgot to solder C60 back in place (which is close to R84 and TR20) (not exactly sure about the numbers, I don't currently have the amp in front of me).

The schematic that was posted does not really match with the amp that I have. I indeed have an ecc83, but no IC at all on my board, only transistors and relays (and of course, R. C. and the tube as well). It seems to have some similarities, but the parts numbering is also fully different, which makes identification pretty difficult.
Did you actually manage to find the correct schematic or did you live with that one?

          Thanks in advance

I didn't find the exact schematic, but the one Juan posted got me there. I've since had a couple more of these amps, both different again, and no match to any schematic I had.
