  • Newbie, Have a SC 120R 6 ECC83,1 ECC81, 6 EL34s.Looking for a schematic.

Just now figured out the Tube positions by checking the resistor values on other schematics. After many years sitting on the shelf, powering it up from time to time to take care of the caps, I finally got round to to checking why it made such a terrible noise. Got the tubes sorted out now and she sounds great, no hum, no squeal, no hiss. The correct schematic would be very usefull if I need to do any more work on her.
If anyone has a lead on one I would very much appreciate the info.

Should be the L/B120, reverb for all amps is under "misc"

Thanks g-one.I looked at the L/B120 and the reverb circuits. That helps a bunch. This amp has an additional ECC83, 6 ECC83s and one ECC81. Any ideas on this?
      Thanks again.

Reverb circuit shows two ECC83's so total should be 6 x ECC83 plus one ECC81 (7 preamp tubes).

Thanks for straightening me out g-one. Must be going blind as well as stupid.
Do you know anything about Watkins copycat. I have the one I had in UK but the change to 60Hz causes the motor to run too fast. Moved the heads out but still not enough to compensate. Just a shot in the dark. Thanks again.

Don't know if it helps, but I've seen electronic frequency converters that change between 50 and 60Hz. They're mostly used by Hammond organ players. Very handy if you have to run a Hammond off a generator at an outdoor gig.
"Enzo, I see that you replied parasitic oscillations. Is that a hypothesis? Or is that your amazing metal band I should check out?"
