Beg him for the schematic, or ask a VOX dealer to get one for you.
The schematics are hard to get, or the schematics provided are "blurred" and out of focus.
Tell VOX you want a clear copy! (it takes a lot of begging and pleading)
The majority we have fixed were just defective soldering connections. Re-solder the boards and usually it will work again.
