anyone know the value of the inductor on this crossover?

Peavey would. COntact customer service and ask for the circuit diagram, and for that matter ask them for the part value. Be nice and include your serial number.

And for heaven's sake, if you need an inductor, just buy the exact one from Peavey Parts department.

Wow, why didn't I think to contact PV?

They cant find the schematic and said they will get around to contacting me back when they do. They also dont sell inductors anymore.

So, like my original post ask, does anyone know the value of this Inductor?

No offense, but the vast majority of Peavey schematic requesters don't.

And you didn;t offer that information. Nor do we know if you are trying to make one or repair one or if the old part is gone or you still have it but it is bad, etc.

        Is this your speaker?

If so, it appears to be an 8 ohm cab wanting a 150Hz Xover and handling 400 watts.

If you need such a crossover, it can be made. A 6db slope simple series inductor of about 8.5mH would work. Parts Express sells those or ones that are close

If you have a bad one, is there a number on it? I have a listing of many inductors PV used over the years, and MIGHT be able to look it up.

If your crossover is not a simple coil, can you trace it out? If it is second order, we can calculate that too.

Yes, thats the cabinet. I was hoping to get the value of the Inductor because the customer has a 2nd cabinet and wanted them to match, without him having to bring the cabinet in and me measuring it with an Ind meter. If no one knows this part value I'll just have him bring the working crossover in at the end of day.
