I found navigating the site 'extremely' difficult.
When I finally achieved the "Take the Test' phase, I blew it.
      5 out of 6 correct.
      Bing Translate worked kinda o/k.
But it kept erasing my log in ID.
The 'Test' was tough because Bing Translate epic failed at translating the equations,
Anyway, I have a valid log in, I simply have to get by the 'Test'.

          Thanks for the schematic.
          Sure looks like fun.

Glad to be able to contribute. While the repair process is not really complicated (2-3 known issues), the disassembling and the assembling is really "fun".

Can you please elaborate on the (2-3 known issues)?

Dear Jazz P Bass, you probably remember that we discussed one of the issues on Q Jerry's thread, a couple of months ago. That is the most common issue with the amp itself. Now, I would like to point out to 2 typical problems with the power supply.
                1. The mosfet driver IC DT5268S, in some cases, is very unstable. Even at a temperature that is a little bit higher than a room temperature, it develops symptoms like random shutdowns, or early limiting. These symptoms appear very rarely in the beginning, maybe once or twice per event. But they intend to build up. Ultimately the whole PS fails, shorting the MOSFET's. If the customer reacts in time, you can simply replace the DT5268S with it's quality equivalent, the IR 21531.
2.The other problem is a classic component-fail-due-to-vibrations. Visually inspect C13 - 1uF/250V and glue it to the PCB if necessary. Luckily, if that component fails, the only symptom is that the PS will not start, causing no further damage. Inspect also the amplifiers output low pass filter coil L 501. Heavy coil+vibrations not a very good combination if not fixed properly.

                Good luck.

hi I'm repairing the sub in question and since the u12 component or rather the TDA is damaged and I can't read the acronym could you please send it to me. I await your reply, best regards.

The full service manual is in post #24. Can you not find what you need there?

I didn't see a TDA style chip there......I saw two mosfets driving the output......maybe you have a different version??
