  • Casio DG-10 electronic guitar

I probably should have passed on this, but I told the customer I;d look into it.

DG-10 is a plastic guitar body, fretted neck has nylon strings. Down at the bridge there appears to be coils of wire wrapped around forms, and the gut strings vibrate these. It has a speaker, and some accompaniment built in.

This one responds to only one string. I don't even want to take it apart without the map. A bit of searching, and I did not find it. ANyone here have this manual?

About all I could find:"The strings don't need tuning as the guitar works on an interesting principle. Pressing on the frets of the rubber keyboard is what selects the notes. Strumming controls the amplitude. It's actually a clever system as it side-steps the expensive and unreliable pitch-to-MIDI circuitry of the day"

Certainly is huge. I started to download it, just to have a gander, but had to put the brakes on when I saw the size. With a 3 gig per month cap, that would be half my daily allowance .

I remember those things.... I always thought they sort of looked like a toy, but I guess some folks really did take them and put them to musical use....
