I could use a schematic for a Korg sp250 if anyone's got one to share. Korg is being less than helpful. Pretty sure it's the slide pot volume control that's bad, but it's a weirdo and I can't get a value with my meter. Thanks

On this model, when you flip the keyboard over to remove or re-install the bottom, use supports at each end.
The slider shaft can be pushed in by the weight of the keyboard, breaking the slider. It happened to me.

I believe the slider is a stereo 10K linear made by Alps. The same type used in Yamaha, Roland etc.
I don't remember if I replaced it or repaired it. If you're lucky you might be able to fix it.
Mouser Electronics sells Alps though it's hard to find the exact physical size.

If the slider knob as pushed into the pot and shoved the bottom out, usually we can repair that. I remive the slider, then I can often reform the little tabs that hold it together to put it back to rights.Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

I was able to repair the slider, it didn't have any visible damage, but I took it apart and tweaked the contacts, put it back together and it works. I think I'll order a replacement slider and velcro it to the inside of the keyboard, for next time.
I deeply appreciate the advice. Y'all came through with meaningful help when the manufacturer basically told me to go crap in my hat. My customer and I are grateful.

I just had one of these units and I had to order a volume slider for it as well.....no sound from the speakers and line out.......when you jump out the red and white wires from the volume control. you get sound when you strike a key....but of course no control of volume....I will keep the old one and see if I can repair it...if I do I will keep it in the hope that one day it might get me out of a jam....
