Carvin is really helpful in customer service, will send schematics and supply parts as needed.
They publish most of them dating back to the beginnings:
Schematic Finder
If you get into a bind diagnosing it, bench techs are available to help, a rare thing nowadays. They are in the small select group of "good guys" in the MI, pro audio field.

I say they are helpful in that they are the ONLY company that will send parts to end users or shops in areas/countries that have no or uncooperative distributors. I have dealt with most of them and each time I contact Carvin they are helpful, responsive and do exactly what they promise.
When I had a tech question my query was directed to the head tech who was very help and send more information than I asked for. Same with the parts department and a manager.
That is what I call helpful.

Yeah I have to say when I called them my call was immediately transferred to the service Tech Department. Now that is pretty cool, but in my one call we both came to the conclusion that the SX400 schematic does not exist. However, this amp does exist and is in my work shop right now. Anyway I have been meaning to call them again to bug them for a bias procedure on the FET400, which will help me out big time. Also, I will ask for some good advice too... I will report back to this thread as to what comes of my call. Hey maybe we can set it straight further on this thread that they are a helpful company to the service tech world. When the going gets weird... The weird turn pro!

Usually, when a schematic "doesn't exist", it is because it is part of some other schematic. When Loud first took over Crate, they often couldn't find schematics. The XYZ60 and XYZ120 are the same schematic, but only one of those numbers would be on the title of the file.Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.
