I have one of these Walkabout M-Pulse heads in with a shorted power transformer. I thought I might try to get the transformer specs and try for a generic replacement rather than pay Mesa prices. If anyone has a schematic or can give me the transformer specs I would be most grateful.

You'll probably need more than one transformer, although I'd mainly worry about the big toroid; auxiliary voltages can come from another much smaller one, maybe a Hammond EI type or something similar.
Don't know how much free real estate you have in there.
If it's a compact unit, you might be very tight.
FWIW a couple months ago I read, I think in this Forum, about a Polish custom transformer winding shop, which "would do anything for a fair price" .
Don't remember who posted about it, but it *might* have been our friend MarkusBass.Attached FilesJuan Manuel Fahey

"I happen to have an original 1955 Stratocaster! The neck and body have been replaced with top quality Warmoth parts, I upgraded the hardware and put in custom, hand wound pickups. It's fabulous. There's nothing like that vintage tone or owning an original." - Chuck H

Thanks guys, I'll see if I can work out the multitransformer option, there is a little bit of room and the tube supplies won't draw a lot so something compact would do. If I can do it I'll post the results, otherwise it's phone the distributor and wince...

@JMF - thank you for mentioning me. I think that this is not that easy. I would need to have detailed transformer's specification, including dimensions ,wire colours, plugs, etc. This could require sending me the transformer (if not the whole amp). I would first check what is the price of the transformer from Mesa. I don't think that multitransformer option would work (that they would fit in the amp).
Yes, I know companies that could wind such a transformer but I think that such companies exist in every country. All you need is to search for them. Alex, where are you located?
Sending the transformer back and forth would increase the cost so I suggest to look for a local company that could manufacture the transformer. Otherwise, you can contact me and I'll see what is possible.
BTW, what exactly is shorted in the transformer, primary windings?
