  • Hello everyone.

I'm looking for anyone who has a schematic or information on a 1961 Tiesco 78 R amp. Or anyone who can steer me in the right direction. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Look in this thread post #10: http://music-electronics-forum.com/t1416/
Experience is something you get, just after you really needed it.

      Hello Catstat.
There was a post awhile back about one of these.
      Gingertube had the schematic.

        Tiesco

Thanks for the help everyone. I've got it working but the 12au7 circuit is raising hell. I think it's noisy plate resistors. That's what it sounds like to me. When i got it,it had one 6l6 and one KT77 in the output section and wasn't passing any signal. Now it's got the right tubes in the output. During test the bias went haywire and i found the 10 mfd cathode cap in the OP section shorted. This has cathode biased 6l6s. I figure maybe 30 watts rms output. Anyway, thanks for all the help everybody.
