Hi all,
This thread I want to dedicate subject: “How to repair digital organ”.
Recently I scanned documents from a large archive (Hi Vintagekiki, I wrote the special message about this to you on September 5. Did you receive it?) Among schematics and service manuals I found interesting documents of Kawai.
These are some brochures: “Signal Library”, which contains some principles of digital organ and demonstrates most of signals; and “Trouble Shooting Manuals”. Despite the fact that presented information relates to specific DX series organs, basic principles of all digital organs remain the same since then, as Allen Organ Company proposed to use the reconstruction of the digital samples by means of DSP and DAC.
Times when designers have explained how the schemes created by them act, are long gone.
For this reason these documents are particularly valuable.
Anyone who wants to study this issue seriously will find there a lot of useful information.
Despite the lack of time I scanned these documents and uploaded them into the Dropbox:

Good luck.
