Orange Micro Terror (20W hybrid- Tube Pre/SS Power)

I am mainly wondering about the single knob tone control used in this amp if anyone knows about it. A full schematic or one of the tube pre-amp section would be cool, too.

It's probably just a simple treble cut: rheostat in series with a capacitor. If it was "PI crossline" in Tiny Terror then in an amp without tube power section the same circuit probably just shunts from signal path to ground.

Open it up and spend a few minutes inside and you probably have it sketched out in no time. The insides are not gooped or anything that would prevent "reverse-engineering".

Hi Steve firstly I hope the chemo and radiation therapy is/was going according to plan. I guess some of your recent posts may have
been made while you are in the thick of it.
Teemuk is spot on it's a simple treble cut like in Vox ac10s etc .
There's a schematic at ElektroTanya although I doubt it's factory issue.
I'll attach it here.

Thanks! I suspect that the tube preamp section of the Micro Terror is similar to that in the Tiny Terror which I see uses an AC-30 style "Cut" circuit as the tone control.

I was checking out the pix at Squier Talk- the PCB is a real work of art!
