  • Ampeg V2 Faceplate PDF? Not schematic.

    Hey Guys,

Sorry, I know this isn't a schem request but wasn't sure where else to post it....

I found an older thread started by antieatingactivist where he'd crafted a high res PDF file of a V2 faceplate utilizing his own amp plus photoshop. Sadly, the attached PDF link isn't active and I've had no luck contacting him via PM. Here's the thread:

Anybody know him or a good email/contact for him? I have a '73 V2 (aluminum knobs) with a faceplate that's literally bare and my buddy is gonna etch a new one for me but I need the image to get the wheels rolling. Otherwise, I may try to alter a V4 plate image and make it work, we'll see.

    Thanks for any help!!!

From what I can see they are identical aside from the small letters saying V2 under the logo (rather than V4). The only other difference would be if the chassis width is different, the dimensions should be available on the net somewhere.

Yeah, the only real difference beyond V2 and V4 labeling is chassis width. Trying to get Bruce at Flip Tops to send me a high res photo of his V4 plates, then go from there.
