Looking for a source for SAP16N and SAP16P. Anybody have ideas, preferably at a reasonable price?

Supposedly if you add external emitter resistors you can use STD03N & P.
Also the SAP's may only have failed internal resistor which can be added outboard if transistor not shorted.
Otherwise seems they are pricey ($25 B&D) or otherwise probably counterfeit.

Yep!!
STD's much more reliable!! Just add that emitter resistor.

From the datasheet of the SAP16, the emitter resistor appears to be a 0.22 ohm.
