  • Egnater Rebel20

    Hello
Can someone help with a complete uncrippled version of a schematic
for an Egnater Rebel20? Components have fallen off of the circuit board
and I can't identify them without the schematic as they are missing.

Failing that if someone has a Rebel 20 can they tell me the values of
    R118 R129 C132

I have contacted Egnater by phone and also via their website and
they have not come thru as promised.

    Thanks in advance

Here is the schematic, it is not available with parts values, but it may help to figure them out. The parts needed are in the power supply and phase splitter circuits.
If anyone has any ideas, please post to this thread:

Electronics parts values ere not random but inter related, often in pairs.
Since you have the actual amp in your bench, please edit the schematic (turn it into a .gif or .png first) adding as many parts values as you can.
      Tedious but not difficult.
Then we can accurately guess the missing values.

      Examples:

      If R119 is 82K, then R120 is 100K

If any of R211/212/213/214 is 220K and all others are unreadable, they are also 220K

      And so on.

I have taken the area of the schematic where the components are missing (R118 I have figured out, because it was in the case), and I printed it and wrote out the values.
I am looking for the values of R129 and C132. Here it is:

It would seem those parts (R129 and C132) are not used as they are marked "NP" on the schematic they sent you.

            Agree and add.
That would explain them not being there.
They would never "dissipate > overheat > melt solder > drop"anyway, so they were either pulled "by hand" or simply never were there.

That said, it's a fixed Presence circuit, which probably made the amp too shrill, so they stopped using it.

*If* you want to experiment, 1K and .1uF would be close to a regular "middy" Presence sound, and using 0.047uF more of a bright one.

But the amp will happily work forever without them.
