Trying to repair an crossover/power supply issue on this one.
Anybody have full set of schematics???

Here is the response from our tech.

Based upon the forum and what this person has tried and is claiming to have tried, I would recommend checking the following in the order shown below to restore his HF.

1. Check: D101: (1N5392)
2. Check: D102: (1N5392)
3. Check: D103: (1N5392)
4. Check: D104: (1N5392)

5. UH100: TDA2052

6. Check: DH100 (1N4148) diode.

Conclusion: I don't really know what made the static noise, but me changing all signal diodes on the board with 1N4148 and replacing Z1 diode (pictured above) with a straight jumper made the problem disappear. No more noise!!!!

Hi AB. THATS GREAT NEWS. I found the culprit on mine. Its the TDA2052 chip. The hum i was hearing was 0,95 Vdc on the tweeter it self. Gonna replace tda today. Hope it works.

Hi. Just an update on this repair. Replaced TDA2052. Problem still there. Still a DC offset on tweeter terminals. Measure input pin of TDA. Also a slight dc voltage. Turns out the TDA was doing its job by amplifying this dc by its set gain to the output terminals. So its working.
So what causes this DC voltage at output you ask??
I can't believe it, but the darn glue they use to hold the larger caps etc in place, has gone conductive. Yep, stuck multimeter across a blob of glue, got a couple of 100kilo ohms. WTH?? Scraped the worst off with some thinners, and the unit now works perfectly. No more hum? offset on speakers.
Hope this helps anyone else trying to repair a similar type problem with these..

i clean up the glue Check: DH100 (1N4148) diode but still have the hum where can i get to buy the TDA2052 chip ??

The TDA2052 is used in the tweeier circuit.
Is that what is humming?

The low frequency amp uses the TDA7294.

Have you checked the power supply filter capacitors for excess ripple (Vac)?

If it is excessive, change out the large filter caps.

I've seen a few of these KRK speakers recently and every one had problems with the black or brown
goop on the circuit boards. It somehow becomes conductive causing hum, noise or crackling.
I scrape it all off, a heat gun helps a lot. No other problems found.
