looking for CRATE 1600 XL Schematic

I recently received this when my nephew passed away however there's no output and I need the schematic if anyone has a link

I suggest you post one or 2 pics , clear and well illuminated, showing your power amp board and the output transistors.

Crate (like most others) in a given year fits the same basic power amp to different models with just slight differences, so *maybe* your 160W guitar head has the same power amp as some other model which easier to find.

Even if not 100% accurate, 90/95% close will help a lot.

thanks, I thought posting the link to the manual would help, it's a 1600 not a 160 so it's been difficult to find so far, I'll post pictures later, having to use the library pc as I have no home internet :/

What I said.
Itīs "1600" model number but the power amp claims 160W RMS and probably the same as their 160W Bass or Keyboard amp. Probably with current feedback and without limiter but , say, 90/95% the same.
Simply because of factory production convenience: same power transformer, supply, even same PCB which fits all, they just put or leave out a few components, 1000 times better than having many different versions.

Enzo gave good advice to this other poster on the DIYaudio website. Especially the part about calling loud and asking for the schematic, noting that G1600xl has same power board as the G160xl... Just thought I should link this post too.
