Hi all - just a few words as a way of sharing some repair experience on the Dynacord Powermate 1000 mk1.....I worked on one of these well made units recently & the fault related to one of the main outs (left, in this case) having low/intermittent volume; I used the power-amp input jacks to check that side of the mixer & all was good.
I traced the problem to the connector CN2 on pre-amp side & eventually resorted to cutting-off the plug, removing its socket & hard-wiring the 20-way, ribbon-lead to the pcb vias...this solved the problem: hoping this might help someone
