  • Boss Roland RT-20 rotary ensemble need schematic

Just picked up used, non-working Boss RT-20 rotary/Leslie simulator.
No guitar sound when engaged., no swirly lights. Red LED does illuminate when on.
When not engaged, all is well.
Any ideas? Anybody have schematic? Boss wouldn't send any service literature.
    The circuitry looks very involved
    Thanks!

Purchased and replaced U12 and U16, DC-DC converter and reset chip.
Still, same symptom-no light show, no sound when engaged. No change. Except less money in wallet. This is proving to be a tough one, but I can't help thinking that a schematic would be useful.

That is a current model so you will not find a free schematic anywhere on the web. Roland would probably sell the service notes, although I'm not sure if you need to be an authorized service center to get those. They do sell their other parts to the public.

For sure the unit is a microcontroller based design.

You replaced the DC-DC converter why?
Are you not getting voltage to the ic's?

Please note: when using a battery supply, the unit will not turn on unless a plug is inserted into the 'Input A (mono) jack'.
