  • Info or schematic on Behringer inuke 3000dsp power amp

Hi, Guys. I have a Behringer inuke 3000dsp power amp for repair. The mains input fuse is o/c and on
closer examination found r37 smd burnt up and c30 close by also suffered. There is a slight burn mark
between 2 legs of a nearby ic [ K63005 ] which I suspect has gone belly up aswell. The switch mode
power devices measure ok,so I checked the 4 IRFS4227 mosfet outputs and they read ok , although
one of the 12ohm 5watt resistors in the zobel network of one output stage was o/c.The customer
only uses it in church hall so is not driven to hard.He said it worked fine then next day no power.
Has anyone got a schematic or any clues?
    Cheers, Peter [ byronboy]

Glad to help in general, but not so sure this particular job will be profitable for you:
    1)
Amazon Price: $279.99 & FREE Shipping
puts a hard limit on what you can charge, parts and labor.
    2) Behringer service info and parts is not available to "outsiders", unless you are a Behringer registered service station or equivalent.

A 3000W $280 complex amplifier places itself in the "disposable" category.

That said, if somebody has access to that info, please post it here, at least so we see the face of the beast

Hi, Juan. Thanks for the quick reply. Member Steve L had posted the schematic for this amp. I noticed in similar threads first posted
by diydidi requesting a circuit for the same amp.The customer told me his amp only had a 12 month warranty,so it seems Behringer
are very selective on what products carry a 3 year gtee. The parts I need cost less than a £10 note, so I,ll give it a go.
I guess I,m a glutton for punishment, but I will let you know the outcome,
      Kind regards, Peter.

        Cool.

By all means, if you basically already found the main problem and have access to parts and schematic (thanks Steve L ), then have a go at it and hope that's all .

I just suggested not sinking more than a couple hours in it because the customer will bark at any bill approaching (or surpassing) replacement value.

        Good luck

Yes, it seems their policy is a bit misleading. Their site says:

"We always strive to provide the best possible Customer Experience. Our products are made in our own MUSIC Group factory using state-of-the-art automation, enhanced production workflows and quality assurance labs with the most sophisticated test equipment available in the world.

As a result, we have one of the lowest product failure rates in the industry, and we confidently back it up with a generous 3-Year Warranty program."

Yet, there is a link there that takes you to a page that says, "This Limited Warranty is valid only if you purchased the product from a MUSIC Group authorized Reseller."

There is a list of authorized Music Group sellers on this page:

          MUSIC Group: Partners

Be sure to check the list to see if the amp was bought from any of those sellers. If so, you do indeed have a 3 year warranty.

I guess for the additional 2 years of warranty, it's probably worth buying from one of those sellers in the future.
