A few notes: 1959 issue.
the 6V6s are basically run @ datasheet, so now ~350 on the plates, 240 screen. I tried upping the screen volts, but it hummed. There were no cathode bypass caps on the 12AX7s, so it was pretty clean and wimpy. When added, it's definitely got a Neil Young vibe. Plenty bright when cranked and you lift it to ear level. This one had a crappy 1965 Utah in it, horrible. But, due to chassis design, I think it was the only speaker that would fit. Speaker selections are limited, so the owner got a 10" conversion baffle. The heaters are the one-side-to-ground arrangement, but the amp is pretty quiet. It's true PTP with just a couple terminal strips, and the first 12AX7 is pretty cramped.
Do not place your beer or cigarette on the cabinet - it's cardboard and paper-covered a la Danelectro.
