  • Hiwatt hi gain 100 footswitch schematic

    Hi all,

Trying to find a schematic for a Hiwatt hi gain 100 footswitch . Any wiring info or photos would be great.

    Thanks

Cannot find the schematic for the 100.

    I have found the 50.

On that amp, the FootSwitch jack is 1/4" plug, T/R/S.

So use two stomp switches with one wired Tip to Sleeve & the other wired Ring to Sleeve.

Excellent thanks Jass P Bass - i'll get that built this weekend.

Also there is a second footswitch jack 1/4" on the back of the amp that's for the reverb & loop ??

Bye the way where did you find the schematic? as I've been looking for a while now. (Hiwatt info seem's really hard to find)

          Hi,

Yes i'd like to use the leds but not an issue if a cant.

I've manage to get hold of a old Peavey 4 button footswitch fairly cheap (looks just like yours - but different text). So i will have a go at rewiring that, only thing it has 5 pin DIN on it so will change for 2 stereo 1/4" jacks

Sorry to revive an old thread but...

A schematic of the 50W hi gain Hiwatt amp can be found here:
HIWATT HI-GAIN 50 COMBO SCH Service Manual free download, schematics, eeprom, repair info for electronics

I thought I post it here because I was looking for it and found this post without resolution.
