      I think he's just sharing so if anyone wants to build one, they can... I downloaded it! Where else we gonna get a schem for a power supply to power technology that was perfected 50 years ago?

          That's the unit I bought, right? I don't see the 0A2 tubes in the schem.

            V1 and V2 are your glow tubes. For some reason they are not identified on the schematic, but they are 150v tubes on there, which is what an 0A2 is.

            For the uninitiated, a gas voltage regulator tube is sorta the tube version of a zener. And they glow pretty purple when they are running.

            Jim bought the unit from me recently, so I posted the schematic mostly for his benefit, but I figured everyone else might find it interesting.

            It provides most power you'd need for a tube circuit on the bench. No need to build a power supply for every preamp circuit you knock together. The circuit isn't all that complex, the two power tubes act as the pass element in the regulator.
