ahhh... long time this project has been on the shelf. I'm still looking for any repair information on the VXT. diagrams/schematic (beyond the owner's manual) would be a help. the onboard preamp is monstrously complicated with many ICs. there is a mini USB port on the board which I assume is for testing and troubleshooting... it would be really good if someone can fill me in on how to use that. I suspect there is a program to provide access but who knows, just connecting to a PC did nothing
