  • Gibson G 30

My first amp was a 1970's Gibson G 30. I traded in in the late 80's for a Peavy Musician and speaker cab. The guy I traded it to tried to add speakers and blew the output transistors. He gave it back! My question is, where can I get a schematic with part numbers. I have the Gibson schematic, but it only has the transistor numbers. If anyone has a picture of the PCB from the top, please send it to me. found some other oddities inside. I just need a comparison.

There is a thread here that has the parts list in addition to the schematic. (last post)
    http://music-electronics-forum.com/t40551/

Q2 is ER3055 (schematic) and would be equivalent to 2n3055. Q9 is 2n2147 on parts list and I think MJ2955 is a good replacement for that one.

Edit: Note that the parts list has parts house numbers to help identify which one is which.

Double edit: The 2n2147 is germanium, read the whole thread attached, and the amp will need to be modified to bias it correctly when switched to silicon transistors.
When the going gets weird... The weird turn pro!
