Looking for schematic for FMA100 FANON 100w tube PA amplifier. Customer wanted the caps changed as they were cracked and filters caps were leaking. There is no way this worked as i have no screen voltage on the output tubes. When i start tracing, there is no way for voltage to get to the tubes, there is a 22k 7w resistor but it goes to the grid of a dual triode, the more i look the more it was worked on years ago and has probably sat non working since then. Have looked at Bogen schematics but they are different. This has oddball 6sy7 and 6au6 tubes along with 12ax7's. I don't feel like redoing the entire circuit just to make it work.

Got it working, i'm getting about 515v or so on the plates(schematic shows 490v), i set the screens at 410v. It takes a while for the screen voltage to come up. Some carbon comps are way out of tolerance so i am changing them, scratchy pots, etc. Thanks again.

Fanon also made amps for Courier brand. Courier "one-hundred" PA amp is, what comes to front panel and chassis, pretty much the same as Fanon's FMA100 - after all, both are PA amps. However, rear panel arrengement is different than in FMA-100. "one-hundred" doesn't feature sockets for external functions and interfacing is largely generic phone jacks instead of screw-on terminals.
I would love to hotlink a picture of the Courier PA amp but I have good reasons to boycott Photobucket, which is not only slower than a turtle but also deliberately makes hotlinking pain in the ass. If it tickles your interest, Google image search demonstrate what I'm talking about.
Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if all these amps use same components and share great deal of similarity in circuit design.
Same amps they are not, in literal sense.Last edited by teemuk; 12-05-2016, 03:01 PM.

However, I believe design of these two amps was somewhat different in the end, at least what comes to preamp section and interfacing. FMA100 is a PA amp with PA amp features, VTR-100 is a guitar amp with guitar amp features.
