  • Rockola 52280A Solid state juke box amp schematic

    Hi All
I'm hoping for a long shot here. I have a rockola juke box in, just the power amp and psu
I have fixed the power amp, then i turned my attention to testing the whole unit
Found that someone has fitted the 2 op amps the wrong way round. Sorted that
but my main problem is that the signal enters the tone control board but does not come out, the tone control has a group on transistors on the board but without a supply voltage
I think that there is some sort of control via another pcb /harness

I need a schematic to be sure or anyone who has experience on theses

    happy new year people

I know that amp, but always include the model of the jukebox, as the schematics are part of the box manual. SO tell me if it is a 477 or whatever.

HAving said that, all my Rockola stuff is in storage, and it is like 7 degrees outside today, and I will not be shuffling around over there. And that is not Centigrade.

The four transistors are JFETs wired as mutes across the signal path. The only supply they need is a gate voltage to turn them off. Pin 2 of the connector.

    Google helps:

Hi guys...any know how the overload part works i have the circuit....is it to do with current flow for the output stage?....if i slightly turn up my volume overload light comes on could this be a leaky cap...also can u replace Pec modules with discretes?
