  • Roland HP505 scheamtic request

    Hi all,

I have a Roland HP505 piano in for repair that used to light up but produce very distorted tones, and now doesn't light up at all despite a good power supply (the board uses several DC to DC converters). does anyone have the service manual for this model?

    Cheers!

Thanks, but unfortunately they don't have the 505 schematic and the other HP references are completely different from the 505... Still searching!

        What is the problem?
The fact is that Roland does not provide schematics for the main board for keyboards that have been released in recent years. Moreover, they removed these schemes from the service manuals for devices manufactured for at least the last 5 years.

One or all of the DC to DC converters are not working anymore, but I don't know if this is due to a fault further down the line or their own failure. And they are SMD so taking the time to replacce everything isn't really an option.
It seems Roland still has the board available, I think I am going to go that route unless I am lucky enough to find the schematic!
