Silvertone 1452 guitar wiring

I'm trying to make a schematic from some photographs, but if there's one already out there it would save me some time.
Any two-pickup Dano with four knobs and a switch would probably be the same.

Are you looking for the "amp-in-case" schematic, or just the guitar itself?

If you're looking for the guitar only, it should be the same as a Danelectro Hornet. Sears just put their own model number on it. You'll have to verify. I'm not 100% positive, but it should be this.

Rats! I rejoiced too soon. The 1452 was a later solid-body model. I think the Dano version would have been a Coral. It has three caps and what looks like a 68k resistor.

Here's an *bay auction with a wired 1452 harness. I can't see the values of all the pots and I don't know the nature of the switch, but the wiring connections, some pot values and cap values are evident. I grabbed some pics from it.

Red Red Yelow = 220000 pF = 0.22uF = 220 nF = 224 (Japanese Codes)

Thanks Chuck, I found those eBay pics too and they were very helpful along with the pics I already had that show where the pickups are wired in. I think vk has the answer for the stripey cap (I was scratching my head over that too) with the first two color bands smeared together to make 220,000 pf. I'll post the resulting schematic shortly.

I never would have surmised that the one fat red cap was two stripes.

Interesting; the 1443 would appear to be the bass version of the 1452 guitar under discussion.
