  • Phil Jones Bass M-500 power amp

Does anyone have a schematic for the Power amp board for a PJB M-500? I'm finding this to be troublesome to work on due to part of the board being obscured by a heatsink and it's difficult to see where traces run.

Tried three different contacts at PJ (including the man himself) but no reply.

EDIT: I had answered thinking it might be using a Class D cookie sized power amp but just checked its page and itīs a 19kg box of electronics, so it must be a normal Class AB one.

Or maybe a quad rail Class F/G/H one (never remember which is which )

Its a regular AB amp with just +/- 70v rails. It's impressive how compact it is - really neat. But this goes against it when troubleshooting.

I'll second that! Mick's back, woohoo! Bejeebers, it's been a long time. I'll take this as a good sign.

This isn't the future I signed up for.
