  • Simms Watts Solid State PA100

Hi I am trying to repair an old Simms Watts amplifier it is a solid state PA100 and was hoping someone may be able to help with the shematic or tell me where I could obtain one.
I have searched but can only find the tube amps

    Many thanks

Thank you for the prompt reply but sadly the schematics you suggest are nothing like this model which is PA100 Solid State it has 2 x 2N4348 power transistors externally on the back it has four inputs on the front plus echo in and out.
The label on the rear shows Simms Watts EMI .

Can you post photos of the circuit board, both sides?

Try this for the power amp. It's possible the transistors in yours have been substituted as the 2N4348 and 2N6262 are similar.

I think it may be you're hitting new poster restrictions. Try putting on a hosting site such as OneDrive, Google Drive or dropbox and then sharing the link.

The schematic posted by nickb looks like the right one. I made a basic layout showing the locations of the transistors.
