Well thanks to previous post for another schematic I was looking for! And hope someone can help me out here. If anyone reading this is looking for any info from Jack Paar's first edition Amp book, shoot me a pm or respond. Just thought I would offer. Thanks to all that respond!

At some point in time, a bunch of postings to AMpix disappeared. I lost a bunch. SO there will be times Ampix is refered to in old threads but no such posting remains. I have gone back since and removed my dead links, though there could be new dead ones.Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

Should the link die and there be a disturbance in The Force, I have the original paper copy I scanned about 8 years ago. I posted and forwarded the .pdf here and there on TalkBass, the UACC site, and have gotten numerous requests for it over the years via email from owners and techs that couldn't find it.
I've been hanging on to the schematic since 1975, so I am glad it's gotten posted up and passed around. Those are good little amps, I still have mine with the 2x15 "106" cab. At 135 lbs, it doesn't get moved much. Together they were marketed as the 146 rig. 140 +106. Steve Mark's logic, I presume. I have never had to repair that unit.
As a matter of fact, last week I fried an Eden WT-400 and an SWR SM-900 ('96) so I gigged with an Acoustic 320 with the 140 as a backup. Both amps almost 40 years old. Just rock solid beasts and in my mind, well worth the time and effort to fix.Talkbass.com Amps Forum Mod "Thor".
