  • Zoom H6 4 channel recorder

A young film maker asked me check ZOOM H6 4 channel recorder. In kovid19 period he was away for few months, the batteries ( Duracell?) inside the machine gave out acid like liquid. After removing display, keyboard & motherboard , a close examination revealed that acid has damaged circuts as well as xlr input sockets. After cleaning with IPA channel 1,2 started working good. Channel 3 & 4 having lot of disturbances. Then after few minutes recorder denied to work. It is very difficult to come to some conclusions. I need schematic. If anyone can help me, please share it .Thanks to all.

Only Zoom themselves have it, ask them and pray.

IPA is not enough, salts are water soluble, not solvent or alcohol siluble.
Carefully wash affected parts with a thin trickle of boiling water from a kettle, not kidding.

PCB and components stand clean water very well, avoid getting it inside pots/switches/transformers/etc. and dry with compressed air so as to remove all water remaining, then let dry under the sun.

Pray corrosive liquid didnīt eat thin tracks.
