  • Looking for clean(er) Crate GT80 DSP schematic

Only schematics I can find are really, really bad illegible scans with no info at all on the DSP board or interfacing it to the main board. Anyone have anything better? Does Loud Audio still exist and support any Crate stuff? Problem I am having is when I change channels from rhythm to lead the effects setting seems to change, the LED light on the effects also gets dimmer. May just be a contact problem, but it would be nice to have a better schematic.

    TIA

      Here is what I have.
It does contain the DSP board but unfortunately the Main board is a poor scan.

A quick look at the gt80 schematic looks like the missing components are a little more visible on the front end. Yet it too is a bad scan.

Just realized that the DSP on this amp has memory and will remember an effect setting for each of the four channel options. You lock in the settings for a channel by switching to a different channel :scratches head:

To make it even more confusing, if using a footswitch, instead of being effects on and off (as you might expect) you can actually toggle between two different effects settings for each channel, making for eight different effects settings. This amp actually has way more capabilities than you would expect if you thought it was just a garden variety Crate amp. It actually sounds pretty darn good, too..
