  • Laney AH210 Schematic request

Hi, my Laney Audiohub AH210 has an attitude of (sometimes) working briefly, then only one channel (Left) remains working, then the light of the Media Player display starts randomly switching on and off, and the sound also, synchronized with it. As Laney apparently only honors warranty if the item is sold through an 'authorized dealer' (it wasn't), I would like to give it a try myself.
Therefore I'm looking for the schematics. Would be much obliged if someone could post it here.
    Thanks.

Be careful re the switchmode power supply. Make sure you know what you're doing.
I would suspect it's not the PSU from your description of the fault.
Cracked or dry joints , connectors not properly seated wouldn't be unusual.

Thank you so much, this will make me feel not totally blind when I open up the amplifier.
The troubles started some time ago when I switched if on and only the left channel worked.
After switching it off and on again the right channel came back and it functioned ok for some time.
Later the right channel wouldn't come up at all anymore while only left worked.
Somewhat later also the left started 'hicking up', and the media display hicked with it in sync.

I really hope it's just some connector or loose contact and wasn't planning to rummage around in the PSU as from experience I know how sensitive those circuits are.
I majored in power electronics a long time ago and (as a volunteer) was able to do quite some damage to a 40 kW inverter drive and I still don't feel confident working on these things without a fully equipped lab and knowing exactly what the designer had in mind.
Anyway, I'll print out the schematic tomorrow and will open it up some day soon. We're not depending on the thing right now.

Many thanks for the schematic. It's much appreciated.
      Thanks again mate.
