ID:	952115Hi does anybody have any schematic or info on this amp from mid 60s I believe? It's a five valve preamp, push buttons like on a copicat for tremolo control and EL84x4 output. The preamp and power are separate panels connected by a cable with octal valve socket going into the power amp. I gather that the power amp is similiar to the WEM Joker looking at the markings on the PCB but I need to trace some things on the pre amp but cannot find any circuit.

    Many thanks, Mike

A picture or two might help.

      Try here: http://wem-owners.com/amps/instrumen.../control-hr30/

Obviously it would be great to compare it with the BR30 since that schematic is available. They are probably close enough to do what you need.

Actually that amp on the link is the exact one I am looking at... small world. I contacted the site owner today and in fact he thinks there is NO schematic for this amp available at all. Similar models are the BR30, ER30, FR30 (also 15w version) and Joker which seem to have the same power amp of 4 x EL84 with individual cathode bias.. I am guessing that the the pre amp is a combination of BR and FR as the HR has two channels. It looks like it will be a case of following it through via pin 1 and 6 etc.

The above amp is from between 63 and 68 from the date codes that I see and externally is in great condition.

THanks for all the help everyone...
        Mike
