  • Electro Harmonix Bass Micro Synth schematics

    Hi to all members

I am searching for the schematics of the EHX Bass Micro Synth, the 2008 pcb revision.
I got a couple of hours in the search, but nothing.
Am I searchig wrong or am I blind?

Any help and/or suggestions will be very appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance
    Mike

Thanks The Dude, the one you linked I think is the only one that can be found on internet, but its a 1978 version, I am searching the 2008 REV. E.

      But thanks for linking it

                Hi to all members

Long story short, checking on the first opamp(this part is very similar to the 1978 sch version), I found on U2, first opamp touched by the input signal, with pin2 and pin3 shorted, and the other opamp was shorting its output to ground. So I desoldered the smd TLC2272(U2) and injected a signal at the output of the second opamp(pin7).
                Everything worked great.
After a couple of days, I got the reply from Electro Harmonix, suggesting me to replace U2, but also U3,U11 and U12, all TLC2272. Seems they had others units with the same problem.
Replaced the rest and the effect worked great!

If someone experiences the same issue: Pedals powers on, signal passes when in bypass, but no sound when the effect is engaged, check U2, and if its a success, replace also U3,U11 and U12. Part is TLC2272CDR package SOIC8.

                Hope it helps
                Thanks to all
                Mike

That makes me suspect they had a bad batch of those IC's, or possibly fakes.
