  • DSL100HR schematic

    Hello folks,
This is a newer DSL100 with HR as suffix. It has a digital board in it. I'm having some signal level issues & would like to see how the signal travels thru the amp to trace the issue. Just roughly tracing with audio tracer it seems possible that the issue may be on this piggyback pcb.
    Anyone have a schemo?
    Thanx, glen

Well not the same, but at least gives an idea of the signal path.

Could it,....could it really be? The famed one true DSL100HR service manual? I thought it a mere myth spread by reddit lurker swine drunk on their own fairytales! ......Lol.

Im not active on this forum but i am more so on Marshall Amp Forum. Anyways ive had my 100HR since the month after it launched and I was part of a group who tracked down the first leaked schematics but we could never find a complete schematic. I knew eventually the day would come where we would likely get the last few pages that we knew must have been missing, but the whole service manual?! Man you made my day. I bet this has been around for awhile now and i just havent caught up with the times but either way this is an invaluable resource for a 100HR owner who is also a weekend amp builder and repair hobbyist. Thank you for posting this, and sorry you didnt get your just appreciation and thanks from the OP back when you originally posted it. Kids these days are so ungrateful....lol. But for real, i just read though this and to have all the voltages and waveforms to reference makes me feel like i finally own this amp and im no longer just leasing it from Marshall despite the fact theyd likely say i "owned" it all along, just not the right to repair it myself. Which means they sold me a potential time bomb paperweight.

Hell i only stumbled on this cause im on my laptop and i dont have that initial three page schematic ive been referencing saved on it and i was searching for the schematic again tonight cause im doing a Fender Bassman build currently and i liked the bias point approach of the DSL100HR and I wanted to see if they were just using the cathode resistor method to give us a current to measure. Never thought id find more than id bargained for!

NP, Twobie. This forum, as many, has been invaluable to me since I joined in 2006. Unfortunately, many old-timers have either retired or sadly passed. I'm '72 and still kicking now working for a non-corporate retailer, which makes the whole situation very favorable and fun. Being a retailer gives us access to tech/help as well as the lit, bulletins, & information for most of what we sell.
                Glad to have helped! glen
