  • Fender Super Bassman

I am looking for a modern Fender Super Bassman amp with the dreaded autobias circuitry. Thanks.

Boy I sure whish I could get a hold of a real Fender Super Bassman Schematic. I would even pay dearly for it.

My amp keeps blowing the 250ma fuse off the secondary....but I am not sure where it goes.

Is the 250mA fuse on the center-tap of the high voltage winding?
Is the circuit different from the Bassman 100T schematic attached?

As far as I can tell the fuse is on the 50 volt bias tap. I think. Maybe.

The amp is more like a Bassman 300 Pro. Fender-Bassman-300-PRO-Schematic-Rev-D.pdf

They do show it as F3 on that 300 Pro schem., does it blow with power tubes removed?

Yes. I ended up giving up on the repair and giving it back to the owner no charge. There is something screwed up with the bias and I wasted enough time on it already. Oh well.
