Crate G-20C schematic?

Amp is working, but wondering if a small mod in the lead channel bit of the preamp might make this amp usable. Don't know if any of other Crate amps that used the SCG lead circuit would be the same or similar.

Thanks. I think this schematic for the G20XL is closer for the SCG part of the circuit, although my G20C only has an on/off switch for the SHAPE instead of a pot.

I did some experimenting with putting an EQ pedal in front of the Crate and cutting the low frequencies really helped the gain channel. Without the cut it is way too woofy and wooly. With the lows cut it reminded me a bit of a GK 250ML.

Wondering if lowering C7 (2.2uF) would tighten up the lead channel a bit. Don't know why they would put a capacitor bigger than any others in the signal chain there.
