  • Looking for ElectroVoice ETX-18SP (powered loudspeaker) service manual / schematics

    Hello Everyone.

I'm trying to fix this device which has been partly destroyed after a lightning hit the house where it was plugged in (but not in use)
the 5V dc rail and the 120 V dc power rail for the half brigdes FET seem ok

service manual / schematics would be a great help

    thanks by advance

Have you tried a 'Factory Rest' of the DSP.
    Push the Master Volume.
Scroll to reset using the Master Volume.
    Select YES.
    Press the Master Volume.

        Hello.
Thanks for this tips ; i hadn't thought about it.
I'm focusin on hardware damages first and spotted that the D-A converter (pcm1754) was dead ; replacing it didn't solve the issue
Have u already work on this specific pre amp board ? if so i've several questions for u ?

              Hello x-pro
it happened that the D-A converter i bought from a chinese store on aliexpress was flawed !!! big wast of time.
With a new one every thing seems fine ; i'm waiting for the user feedback

This is timely. There's another thread going on here right now where the tech is using Chinese fakes.
