No heater voltage between pins 4, 5 to 9. I get heater voltage only between 5 and 9

Is that with or without a tube installed?
It is a series connection.

Lower area of pg.2 of schem. Like Jazz said, they are series filaments, so I don't see how there would be voltage between 5 and 9 without also being between 4 and 5.
You may have to dig in harder with your meter probe.

Without, I see it now. I substituted another 12ax7 which also turned out to be bad. Brand new tube and it works fine now. Chased my tail for a little bit there, thank you for your help!
