Can someone tell me what package IC1 is? Im not familiar with SMD/SMT.

Seems to have to do with the width of the foot? See attached.
Also the distance across from one side pins to other side. Very slight differences though.

Now I'm actually leaning twords SSOP8 after looking more closely at available sizes. Its a Boss DD3

I suggest that this device is the DD-3(T) Digital Delay.
If so, the IC1 is the M5218AFP.
Package type is the SOP8-P-225.
